About
Still Grove Psychology is a small, virtual-only private practice located in Ohio offering evidence-based practices to treat a variety of mental health conditions.

My Story
I took quite a winding path to finding my career as a clinical psychologist. I began by joining the Air Force Reserves in 2010 as a means to afford college. While in the Reserves, I worked several other jobs and took classes when I could to finish my bachelor’s degree. During that time, I began taking psychology courses and quickly fell in love with the field. While in my master’s at the University of Dayton, I began doing clinical work and research in homeless shelters where I learned how to provide group level therapy and was given the opportunity to learn about the many barriers people experiencing homelessness face when trying to receive mental health care. I went on to earn my Ph.D. from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI where I continued to research homelessness and work in a variety of clinical settings, including forensic hospitals, community mental health centers, and children’s hospitals conducting individual and group therapy. I then completed my internship at the Dayton Veteran’s Affair’s hospital working with a community close to my heart given my own experiences as a veteran. At the VA, I gained invaluable experience providing evidence-based practices for veterans experiencing PTSD, serious mental illness, and relational problems. Since completing my education, I have been working in private practice seeing clients with a wide range of presenting problems. All of these experiences have been incredibly rewarding in their own way, and have taught me a lot about what I’m most passionate about. I decided to open Still Grove to integrate my many passions. My hope is to make therapy easier to reach for anyone facing obstacles to care, through virtual individual, couples, and group sessions. I specialize in treatment for trauma, personality issues, mood and anxiety disorders, and relational and life stress problems.
